Microsoft Ten-ders New Security Update

Microsoft has 10 new security bulletins lined up for release next week. The June 14th release promises a number of other updates. The will air a webcast on Wednesday to discuss the details of the updates.
Microsoft sends out the updates once a month, on the second Tuesday. Some details have been released but more will follow on Tuesday and in depth discussion will be done during the webcast.
The bulk of the updates cover issues in the Windows product, some of which are listed as critical. Five of the updates will be picked up Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA) and the Enterprise Scanning Tool (EST) will pick two up.
One of those ten will cover both Windows and Microsoft Services for Unix. They also include updates for Exchange and Internet Security and Acceleration.
The Redmond raiders also plan to stick in a new version of their Malicious Software Removal Tool into a Windows on Windows Update, Microsoft Update, Windows Server Update Services and the Download Center.
Microsoft jogs out these advance releases to let the IT folks plan some time to get the updates done.
