Britestream SSL NIC Receives Ready For Tivoli Validation From IBM

Britestream Networks, a provider of hardware-based data privacy technology, announced that IBM has validated the Britestream BN1200 SSL offload network interface card (NIC) as "Ready for IBM Tivoli Software."
The "Ready for IBM Tivoli Software" validation verifies that the BN1200 has been tested and validated for seamless integration into IBM Tivoli Access Manager implementations. The integration provides complete SSL off-load and end-to-end application data protection and access control.
Britestream's solution is the first SSL/TLS security NIC that is completely self-contained and manages all facets of SSL/TLS processing on a single card. It is a groundbreaking new concept that is resetting the bar for Internet security. By processing data in real time directly in the network stream, Britestream technology handles secure data-completely, autonomously and transparently-freeing up systems to handle the tasks they were designed for. The Britestream solution offers plug-and-play simplicity and uncompromised performance with fortified protection.
The Britestream technology is sold to network edge equipment providers whose products utilize SSL for data privacy and to enterprise customers who have application/web servers that also use SSL for data privacy.
